Nhan's Fried Rice Recipe (inspired by mom)

What You'll Need (Serves 4):

  • 3 Quang Tran Chinese Sausage Links (sliced)
  • 4 cups Cooked Rice (leftover is preferred)
  • 3 Large Eggs (whisked)
  • 4 tbsp Green Onions (chopped)
  • 4 tbsp Fresh Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp Neutral Oil (avocado, grape seed, vegetable)
  • 1 tsp Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 tbsp Maggi Seasoning
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tbsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions:

Prep Time: 10mins
Cook Time: 15mins
Total Time: 25mins

  1. Slice your Quang Tran Chinese sausage links in half lengthwise and then slice. Your sausage pieces should look like half moons.
  2. Preheat your pan to medium low. Once hot, toss in sliced sausages and constantly stir to avoid burning.
  3. Once the sausages are browned, transfer them to a bowl and set aside. Leave the leftover oil from the sausages in the pan.
  4. Add your neutral oil to the pan and bring the heat back up to medium. Add in 2 tbsp of chopped green onions, and all of the chopped garlic. Once the garlic is browned, add in the whisked eggs and scramble.
  5. Once eggs are not running, add in cooked rice, chicken bouillon, salt, and pepper. Turn the heat up to high. Fold your sausages back in, and add oyster sauce and the remaining green onions. Toss and mix evenly.
  6. Finish with the sesame oil and enjoy.

Three Easy Ways To Enjoy Quang Tran's Chinese Sausages:

  1. Rice Cooker - Place a few links of sausages on top of your rice before you start the cooking process. Your Chinese sausages will be ready to enjoy as soon as your rice is done.
  2. Oven - Cook your Chinese sausages at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden. Don't forget to keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  3. Stovetop - Either slice up your sausages or cook them as a whole link on medium heat. Keep them moving in the pan to prevent burning.
